OK, well that’s weird. Apparently if you pre-order something called “Left 4 Dead 2″ through Steam, you get a new hat in TF2. Go figure! I guess they must be really, really desperate for somebody to actually buy this thing…

(I’d almost consider buying it just to get the hat. You know, if the hat wasn’t so uninteresting…)

Exactly what it says in the title: Team Fortress 2 does a Halloween special feature.

Guess what I spent all of my weekend doing. And oh my God, I finally won a hat!! Two hats, in fact. I collected the 20 candy bars to get the paper hat, and accidentally dominated somebody with my sentry gun to get the Ghastly Gibus which I actually wanted. Too bad it presumably won’t last after tomorrow…

I can’t believe how many hundred hours I’ve played TF2 and never won a single hat. But then, I also can’t believe that yesterday alone I got 15 copies of the Dead Ringer which I already have — and I don’t even play as Spy anyway!

Wednesday night saw me attending one of the permances of the play that Les is in. Personally I would describe it more as “cringe-inducing” than “funny”, but I guess it depends on your humour. If you thought On The Busses was funny, this would probably crack you up. Anyway, suffice it to say that on Friday night, Les was on stage and hence not dancing with me.
