The model

So, by executing a series of elaborate and dangerous acrobatics, I was able to read the tiny model number written on the back of our TV.
Samsung LE26A457C1D.
Any suggestions as to why it takes 25 million years to switch on or change signal source (or why it doesn’t turn on with the same source as when it was turned off) would be helpful.
