A quiet night out

Last night, as arranged, I had a nice night out with Lynn.

She did say something about going ice skatting, but the place is only open Tuesday and Friday nights. So instead, we visited her horse Echo, and then we spent the evening at the Black Horse. She bought me drinks all night (I was only drinking J₂O), and we chatted for hours on end. In fact, we didn’t leave until 11 or so. And even then we didn’t go directly home.

I’ve agreed to take Lynn to Far Cotton tomorrow. It turns out her friend Lavinia (not Olivia like I keep thinking it is!) wants to come too, so I’m giving them both a lift there. From Wednesday it looks like there won’t be too many other people I know, but hopefully me and Lynn will have a laugh together if nothing else. (The detour on the way home was so I could see where I’m picking the girls up from.)

Presumably tonight is my last Ballroom & Latin class until next month. Hopefully that’ll go smoothly, and then I’ve got tomorrow night to look forward to. (Assuming I can find this place!)
